Unless otherwise stated on the site, LEDs are in stock. These are bare LEDs without heat sinks, as shown in the photos.

Please attach the LEDs to a heat sink or a large aluminum plate using either heat conductive paste and screws or heat conductive adhesive. Do not use “thermal pads”, as these have too low thermal conductivity. Active cooling (fan) is recommended. You should keep an eye on the temperature on the heat sink or heat sink plate at the beginning (and initially at low power, i.e. dimming level). If the heat sink remains cold, this is a sign of poor heat transfer. If it gets so hot that you can't touch it for long, the heat transfer is probably OK, but the overall cooling is too small or there is too little air flow.

LEDs may only be operated at constant current at the correct level. The currents set on the circuit boards are noted on the second page of the invoice. Never connect LEDs to an unregulated source. If testing is required, please only do this with a large series resistor (e.g. 1 kOhm).

All LEDs are tested individually before delivery - for function and correct insulation of anode and cathode against the cooling surface on the back (important for operation on the driver/controller boards).

Important: If present, please remove the blue protective film before applying power to the LEDs!

Up to 2 LEDs in series per port:

• LED warm white 10 watts (max. 1000 mA; ~3000K) 5 EUR each plus shipping,
• LED pure white 10 watts (max. 1000 mA; ~6000K; ~1100 lm) 5 EUR each plus shipping,
• LED cold white 10 watts (max. 1000 mA; ~20000K; ~1100 lm) 5 EUR each plus shipping,
• LED royal blue 10 watts (max. 1000 mA; ~445 nm) 5 EUR each plus shipping,
• LED blue 10 watts (max. 1000 mA; ~470 nm) 7 EUR each plus shipping.

Every 2 of these LEDs need 3 ports (one per color):

• LED RGB 20 watts (max. 700 mA per color) 15 EUR each plus shipping (Deep red 660 nm and 730 nm / Green 520 nm / Blue 470 nm),
• LED CVU 20 watts (max. 700 mA per color) 15 EUR each plus shipping (Cyan 490 nm / Violet 420 nm / UV 380 nm and 400 nm).

The white and blue LEDs have a + engraved on the side of the anode (plus).

For the multicolored LEDs, the position of the hole in the solder tag can be used as a guide to find the correct polarity. For both CVU and RGB LEDs, the holes are on the side of the anode (plus).

The hole spacing (center to center) for the white and blue LEDs is 16 mm. For the CVU and RGB LEDs it is 19 mm.
